Why Isn't Thirtysomething In U.S. Syndication?

I don't understand why cable stations don't have this in their lineup. It drew some pretty decent ratings in its time and with all the cable stations there are nowadays, you'd think someone would spend the money for the rights.

Music rights are holding up the thirtysomething DVD but what is holding up another syndication run like Lifetime did back some years ago?

Bravo ran this series briefly back in 2001-02, when they also ran Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere. They may still hold the rights to run it, even though Bravo was sold a couple of years ago to NBC-Universal, and doesn't run many old shows nowadays (except for Law & Order:CI).

Are you sure it's music rights clearances that's holding up a DVD release?

BRING OUT SEASON THREE OF "ONCE AND AGAIN" ON DVD!
