Personally thirtysomething was my personal favorite, I just didn't care much for Once and Again. Thats just me though, some other people could argue this point to the death with me though, which I am embracing here on this thread.
Yeah, someone posted episodes on youtube. Just search for thirtysometing and you'll get episodes "Separation", "Legacy", and "Mr. Right".
I am really, really dying to see 'thirtysomething' because I am a huge fan of Bedford Falls television. Taking into account the few 'thirtysomething's I've seen, I would have to say that, as of now, I prefer 'Once and Again.' I personally thought it was a little more well-balanced and a little less showy with its emotions. That's not to say "thirtysomething" was even remotely a bad show; I thought the few I've seen were great. But I saw 'Once and Again' first and, I don't know, it just had me hooked from day one. I have never felt so hard for characters or been so invested in their emotions. I guess that's why it's my personal favorite show of all time.
But, since this used the exact same creative map as 'thirtysomething' and that, of course, came first, there's a small chance I might change my opinion if I ever get to see it all -- on DVD (REAL DVD, damn you, MGM).
I didn't get into thirtysomething until the episodes aired on Bravo in 2001. I was well into Once and Again by that time. Although 30s was wonderful, I must give the edge to O&A, which was more relevant to what was going on in my own life at the time.
BRING OUT SEASON THREE OF THE GREAT ONCE AND AGAIN ON DVD!
