It seems the songwriter is 'Snuffy Walden'. I can't find his songs in the web.
The UK's Channel 4 released a CD called '4America' in the 1990s, which I think included the thirtysomething theme. I only have the sequel CD, not the first one so I don't have this, but you might find it on ebay ... might even still be on release but I suspect not any more.
WG Snuffy Walden is one of those great names to spot in the TV credits - he did the West Wing theme too. This is his imdb page:

I bought a used CD on eBay. Maybe there are others available. Since the show itself is scheduled to be released on DVD in August, 2009, perhaps the music CD will be re-released around then or sometime thereafter.
