Ahhhh!! I cannot STAND Elliott!! *** spoilers ***

Please do not read this if you have not seen the third or fourth season.

Maybe it's just me, and probably so, but I can absolutely NOT stand that character. He has an affair, he acts like a child, his character lacks sincerity, especially how he acts with his wife during her cancer?! He just tries too hard to be the loving, doting and adoring husband, but it all seems so fake and nauseating (during the last two seasons).

Perhaps this is what "real life" represents and I am living in a dream world, but if I was married to a man like him, I'd sooner divorce the twit!! He has no spine. He is fake and a complete jerk. Ughhh.

I simply hate his guts. Is there someone out there who can help me understand this man??
