I've been watching the last few years some of the TV series from the 60-80's - USA and UK - many of them out of a whim for the nostalgic.

I've been more than amazed how great some of them have been - and become real icons - All in the Family, UK series etc.

I was looking forward to 30Something as I recalled having somewhat liked it when shown then.

WOW - was it a shock to watch these baboons - dialogue which was from outer speace, smirkey performances from Olin, Busfield, Harris - smiling when there was nothing to smile about. The acting was so bad it is really hard to find words to describe. A grand bunch of losers throughout.

My biggest disappointment is with myself for having had some affinity for the show then (one excuse was there wasn't much on TV in English back then where I am - and no computers, DVDs etc.)

One consolation is I will not have to lay out reasonably large amounts for any more of the series - so can save money, time and aggravation.

If it is any indication of the class of personality skills of the actors - Mel Harris will be heading for her 6th divorce - Elizabeth Taylor wasn't much of an actress either! :-)

You're a moron. This is one of the best shows in the history of television. You are probably the type who cannot stand anything considered intelligent entertainment. I bet high quality to you is reality shows where you can ogle at scantily clad twenty something's. Oh well. I guess it saves wear and tear on your upper brain functions (an Elliott quote)..... Not that you understand what that even means.
