Poor Wesley! He c/d have been the ultimate Trekkie. A fanboy on the inside. They c/d have scripted him ask/say all things Trekkie in the show. "R ppl beaming dn/up real or merely replicants?" "Whatever happened 2 Appolo's child?" Did Uhura, Sulu & Chekhov ever get a command?" Whatever happened w/ McCoy's daughter?" Did he ever hook-bk-up w/ the priestess?" "Did Spock marry Charles Bronson's wife. Or another Vulcan?" "Did Kirk ever get hit w/ palimony?" All these? we will never know b/c they were never asked!" On TNG!

frosted_one, cjh8504, Tolyngee; No, seriously guys! Roddenberry may have been angling 4 a TREKKIE relatable character inside the then ST universe (before it was known as TNG). Sort of TNG's Jar Jar Binks. The only reason Koenig has a movie career is b/c he looked like a Monkey.
