anybody find the families pretty similar to The Flintstones.?
Al= Fred, Peggy =Wilma(redhead)
Marcy= Betty, Jefferson/Steve = Barney
idk it's just a funny similarity i guess.
Not really bc Fred is involved in his community through the Waterbuffalo lodge--which is a respected and prominent community organization
Wilma's cooking is a source of pride as is all the work she puts into cleaning the house

shareNo because Wilma is (for the era/the cartoon) very well dressed, well groomed and very polite to others. she is wearing pearls to do housework. So is Fred who is wearing a tie. Wilma is not at home because she is lazy, she is at home because she is 'working' keeping the house nice and clean and taking care of pebbles. Fred never insults pebbles and he loves wilma. He makes an effort to get along with Wilma's mother even.
