I don't blame Marcy for marrying him. He looked good, was surely great in bed, and he had a great sense of humor. If Marcy didn't mind supporting him, he'd be a but to walk away from that set-up.
She could well afford Jefferson, have all kinds of fun, and enjoy the eye candy.
Great addition to the show.

shareI liked Steve better, sure he wasn't as handsome as Jefferson but way smarter and also made sarcastic comments about Al and his family. Steve was cute in his own way.
shareI liked Steve Rhoades better, and he wasn't unattractive at all and as a matter Marcy used to get on Jerffereson's performance in bed more than Steve. I think Steve satisfied Marcy more because she was money hungry just like he was and she was turned on by it.

In that car wash episode when Steve is there and Marcy spots him, you can see Marcy really turned on by him having a town car and gucci loafers even though she hates him.
