Best Soundtrack to a 80's movie based on a 80's TV Cartoons.

I wish that The Care Bears Movie had this kind of soundtrack.

I will not lie, I'm 36 and every time I watch this movie the music still gets me hyped. Luckily my 18 mo old loves to dance to this movie's soundtrack so I don't look as foolish

It is never foolish. I have the album on my in car mp3 player. Shame on anyone who looks down on you for blasting you've got the touch!

You haven't seen me dance then 

I never though about putting the soundtrack on MP3 etc... I usually just youtube it from my phone but that's a great idea.

I'm watching it now, I think it's so much better than the Michael Bay rubbish. Makes me feel like a kid again. For for the first 20 minutes I've remembered most of the words :-D

I'm not ashamed to admit I crank Lion's theme song and "You've Got The Touch" in the car.

the Care Bears soundtrack was more ensemble sing-a-long , which didnt seem far off from the tv series. while the Transformers tv series had instrumental music only , so to upgrade to actual rock songs and dramatic tones, thats what stepped it up.

i havent come across any other animated film based off a tv series that has that sort of big upgrade in music. Pokemon the First Movie comes to mind, but that wasnt as memorable as Transformers.

I got this soundtrack on vinyl (and still have it) back in 1986. The moment the theme blasted through at the opening, I was super hyped. Also, the instrumental pieces as well.
