The TV Version With the Live Action Intro

I feel like I'm losing my mind. Someone please tell me that they remember this.

When I was a kid, I recorded this off of TV in like '87. This TV version had a live action intro where some kid was talking to a clay-motion Optimus about being bullied and then Optimus tells the kid a story about one time the Autobots were bullied (by Unicron) so, the whole movie is supposed to be Optimus telling this kid the story.

They cut back to the live action bit in the middle and at the end too. Also, when they went to commercial breaks "We'll be right back!"

I can't find any of this on youtube, not even anyone talking about it!

That would be season 5 where they did reruns of the some of the stories.

For sure, I recorded it. Think I still have the vhs tape in the basement...
