I just wanted to share the fact that I was deeply moved by Scott's portrayal of Hideo Takamini in the 1986 classic "SpaceCamp". I don't think a better actor could have been cast to take on such a challenging role. There is no doubt in my mind that this magnificent acting triumph will be discussed for decades to come.

Yes, he pulled off that "confused-on-the-verge-of-panic" look better than anyone else could've. Did he ever receive any nominations for his performance? If not, I think a petition is in order.
