DVD- Missing Scenes

I read a US comment that the DVD of Space Camp is missing a couple of scenes particularly where they compete with the green team to be able to get the chance to sit in the rocket. This is apparently the edited version for TV which is only 100 mins (as oppose to the original 107 mins). When I saw the edited version on TV it felt like it needed that extra part before they go off to space.

I just wanted to know if the UK version of the DVD has these missing scenes in it or if anyone knows if any of DVD versions have the full film rather than the edited one?

The 107 mins time I was giving was just the IMDb information. The TV version is only 100 mins, so that means there was even more missing from the original cut. I really hope the UK DVD version is the full 115 mins, cause as I said the 100 mins version really feels like its missing something. Let me know if anyone has the DVD info on this?

actually there were more scenes with tom the tech guy workin on the lunar lander.....but they were cut cos they were really negative scenes adn it was released right after the challenger incident...ron harris(tom)...was my theater teacher for 2 years ...he retired last year...i was in his class in 2003 and 04 so he told us all about this

Pretty sure it doesn't, I don't remember that scene... though I haven't watched the movie in a long time. I think the DVD is packed up at my parents' place, but if I find it here I'll check.
