This film feels very 80's, I am not sure that a remake would work in today's climate. Perhaps if lighting struck an Iphone and then Siri became alive?

shareA stereotypical comedy trope, but I wouldn't say it was racist or offensive. I genuinely don't believe any harm was intended toward Indians. Fisher Stevens' character is supposed to be loveable and a positive example of immigration. If one chooses to view past features with present eyes then there's always going to be something that someone deems offensive.
