On the 1986 CBS/Fox VHS version, is there a message at the end of the tape that says "This Movie was Mastered Digitally"?

That's funny. Digital mastering improves the look of VHS. For example, if you make a VHS recording of an old movie from a DVD or Blu-ray and compare it to a non-digitally mastered official VHS release of the same movie, your recording will look better than the official one, assuming you used a good quality/condition VCR and good quality tape.
