Does anyone know why it says TV on their windshield in duct tape, I've never been able to figure that one out

I assumed it was because they were working for the press.

I just saw this for the first time ... It looked like the windshield was taped as repair, I thought Stone just chose TV as the tape pattern as a jab to America's obsession with television entertainment and ignorance to what is going on elsewhere in the world ... but maybe I'm over-thinking it :)

It's commonly used by journalists to identify themselves in conflict zones.
