2nd favorite Horror franchise.

I can't believe how many people don't acknowledge the Psycho franchise as one of the best IMHO it's my 2nd favorite Horror franchise first being A Nightmare on Elm Street and just like that franchise I love all of the films.

Psycho(1960) IMHO is the film that gave birth to the slasher sub-genre of Horror in cinema sure it's not my favorite slasher film but I consider it the best made and quality slasher film of the genre very enjoyable but I enjoy A Nightmare on Elm Street the original the most but I appreciate the general filmmaking of Psycho more thus why it's the best and not my favorite.
Psycho II is a sequel that's very much a proper continuation of the original and is of almost equal quality Norman Bates is more of a victim and I like that they played with the Victim/Villian themes in the film.
Psycho III comes full circle and is a very loose remake of the original and I love it very much.
Psycho IV:The Beginning is very interesting prequel film.
Psycho remake is a interesting experiment that I don't have a problem with.

Not a big fan of the recent Bates Motel TV series but the movies are all great.
