and other films. She was ambitious. But she was blue in the freezer from really freezing? I doubt they would put an actor through that.
Her directorial effort Poison Ivy has a featured Leo DiCaprio (billed as "Guy') before Gilbert Grape

There's also another article online somewhere that I found last year where she goes into greater detail about what she went through on the Psycho III set, to film the scene you mention. You can probably still Google-search it.
