I like this movie but I don't love it

I saw it again recently and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I could spot the homages to Hitchcock and I thought Anthony Perkins did a fine job of directing.

The sex and violence content was pretty much demanded by the studio because that's what contemporary audiences wanted. But I love the dark humor and the sense of claustrophobia as Norman's world starts crumbling once again...

nah. the movie isnt good. it has an overall lower standard than the previous two films. it doesnt even stand up to the second film.

This one is okay but seems too generic compared to the first two films.

I enjoyed it. Anthony Perkins did a good job with this movie!
