Junior was a child rapist and a coward.
O-Neill was just a coward.
what made them cowards?
shareIn case you missed it, Junior ran away and abandoned his trench like a little bitch and O-Neill tried to brown nose his way out of the final fight.
sharewhy should they sacrifice themselves?
shareFor the man next to you.
sharethey volunteered?
shareOnly 25% were draftees...
sharedid they volunteer?
shareWhat are you, 5 years old? It doesn’t matter if they volunteered or not. They were cowards. Francis was a draftee, but he stayed in the bunker with Chris to face the final battle.
shareof course it matters, they don't have a duty to kill themselves just because some psychopath politician want's to play war games
shareThat’s not what we’re talking about here. Everyone was in the same shitty situation. It had nothing to do with why they were there, those factors were beyond their control, but what their actions were as human beings. Junior was a coward because he felt he could rape innocent children and get away with it. Barnes was a coward because he murdered Elias to prevent himself from facing justice. Bunny was a coward because he got off on beating unarmed civilians to death. O’Neill was a coward because he was a bully and he only cared about himself. Wolfe was a coward because he stood by and did nothing during the village massacre. In short, their personalities and how they faced the situation was what made them cowardly. Chris, Francis, Elias, King, Harold etc. were all heroes because they tried to do the right thing and help their fellow man and soldier.
shareThey were all idiots for kowtowing to the politicians.
shareIt was different in 60s. They didn’t have as much access to information like we have now. It was normal for America to have always been at war. Also they came from disadvantaged or poor backgrounds. The military has always preyed upon the weak and vulnerable.
shareIn a stupid war started by LBJ and his cronies I say BOTH Junior and O'Neill were victims more than bad guys
