Similar movies?

I really really adore this film. Wonder if you guys could suggest some other films with similar scenarios. Thanks 😃

I love this movie too- it is my absolute favorite. I think the idea of time travel is so appealing to me. Other movies that involve time travel or settings involving other decades interest me. "Somewhere In Time" has a similar theme with time travel.

13 going on 30 is a good one!

Although not a time travel movie, "Sliding Doors" is one about parallel worlds that exist depending on what decisions the main character, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, makes.

"Forever Young," with Mel Gibson, although his character was frozen and revived.

"Looper" -- some gruesome scenes

"Midnight in Paris," if you can stand Woody Allen's usual obsessions

"Source Code" for a short thriller

I recently watched "La casa del fin de los tiempos" on Netflix and found it very interesting. Don't want to give anything away about it.

"Back to the Future" for sure.

It's always going to be compared to Back to the Future which came out around the same time and was set in a similar time period. For me, Kathleen Turner makes the movie, which whilst being very watchable, is nowhere near as funny, nor clever, as BTTF.🐭

I would say "Field of Dreams" ~~ it's the other one with some time travel elements that always makes me cry at certain points in the film ~~ both are less sci-fi and more about human relationships.

There are some good suggestions above if you're looking for similar scenarios (time travel, etc.).

If you're looking for Comedy-Drama-Fantasy mash-ups in general, I'd suggest:

Being John Malkovich
Click
Ghost World
Shallow Hal
