Pat Hingle calling Bill Bubba when Hingle's character is named Bubba.

The Bible salesman fake death. Why does he sound like that? Like a robot or something? Does being hit by a car and near dead make you sound like a synthesizer? He's revealed to still be alive when he he grabs Deke, but then dies seconds later. LOL, what?

Why did they refuel trucks? They had a rocket launcher, grenades, and a shit ton of guns - and later easily take out multiple cars/trucks. They just sat on their hands for half the movie.

The epilogue. The movie flat out tells us a comet caused the machines to go haywire. Aliens can't send a comet.

It's not up to me to prove the movie's claim. That's up to people making the claim, not for me to disprove it.

Oh, and easy. Comets are forces of nature. Natural events. From what we know about science and nature, they cannot be controlled. No one has controlled a comet, so no one has proved it's possible to do so.

Aside from that, the movie never made that claim. One character casually speculated about it, nothing more.

That said, in the movie's reality there could be aliens out there who are far more advanced than us and have technology we couldn't understand that can do things we would consider impossible. Controlling a comet would simply entail controlling gravity, which is something that's existed as a concept in science fiction for at least 200 years. So you really are sounding like a major idiot here.
