The acting in Manhunter was horrible. The actors arent believable either due to the poor acting. The Dialogue is rushed and it sounds cheesier than in red dragon. Im glad Red Dragon was made. Manhunter should be dismissed and ignored.

shareWilliam Peterson's acting in this movie seemed kind of half-hearted, like he wasn't really taking it seriously. If he'd put a little more zest in his performance I would prefer him to Edward Norton, though, because Peterson had a more street-wise, cynical demeanor, like someone experience a dark inner turmoil.

shareManhunter is a great film, Red Dragon feels like a by the numbers thriller, the story beats are pretty similar but the execution and style of Manhunter make it far more entertaining.
