This movie is called Operation Condor 2, so one would assume it is a sequel to Operation Condor. One problem, Operation Condor was made in 1991, while this movie was made in 1987. So, as I said when I first found this out, WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!?!?!?
shareMy guess is you're in the USA! Ever since JC hit the big time with Rumble in the Bronx his back catalogue has slowly been released in the USA. Operation Condor was released first without the "Armour of God Part 2" label in the States, so they presumably decided to call Armour of God "Operation Condor Part 2" when it was eventually released. But for the rest of the world Operation Condor was originally known as "Operation Condor - Armour of God Pt 2".

It has nothing to do with story and everything to do with when they were released in America.

In the US it was the other way around.
Operation Condor was released first.
Then Armour of God: Operation Condor II.
They were just cashing in on the success of Operation Condor.
