I think you'll find that Armour of God was released initially as 'Armour of God' and then 'Operation Condor: Armour of God 2' was released afterwards with a wider international distribution.

After the success of Operation Condor, and some of Jackie's othe films, Armour of God was re-distributed, but as 'most' of the western world had not heard of it, yet had heard of Operation Condor, the title was altered to 'Operation Condor 2: Armour of God'.

Or something along those lines... ;)

Its very stupid to call it Operation Condor 2. I think many people get confused by this..
this is the first Armour of God film followed by armour of god 2 in 1990..

The Armour of God movies were made in 1987 and 1991. Western distributors thought they had a better chance of propheting from the second one, so part two was released first in the West (as Operation Condor). After it did well, they then decided to import part one as if it were the sequel. Western distributors seem to do that a lot.
