Operation Condor 2: The Armour of the Gods (USA)

In the non-USA parts of he world:
1) Armour of God
2) Armour of God 2: Operation Condor
however, seeing as Operation Condor was released in the US first, and was quite succssful, then they decided to release Armour of God too. Someone had the great idea to call Armour of God, Operation Condor 2 so as not to confuse people. This in turn confused a generation of yanks Who discovered that #1 was the sequel and the sequel was the original.
Everything clear?
It's just as bad as trying to explain that Lucio Fulci's Zombie and Zombi 2 are the same movie
