It's been years since I've seen it and I still remember those amazing fights and stunts. I loved this movie the first time I've seen it as a kid and compared to Chan's American movie this movie is simply a masterpiece.
I must say I thought this was one of Chan's worst films. He didn't show much cool stunts in this one. The ending ruined it for me too. I dont know I just didn't like it. I think Police Story is way better.
Armor Of God isn't his best film for sure (that title belongs to Police Story), but its definitely one of his better films. And I agree that the stunts were too few and far in between but I don't blame him. After all, he did almost die making this movie.

Armor Of God and Operation Condor along with the Police Story films, Project-A and Meals On Wheels are his best films! Armor of God more or less has the animated cartoon Jackie Chan Adventures based on it. So i'd say these 2 films have had indeed a nice rich legacy and were great Hong Kong films and martial arts movies of that era looking back.

I thought it was very ordinary as well. Funny, where it wasn't supposed to be funny. For example Yugoslavia standing in for equatorial Africa? And that soundtrack? OMG! Just what was their thinking there?🐭
