What was the Mitsubishi Jackie used in the film?

Does anyone know? I've been clawing through the net to find it, but there's no trace of any model number or pictures. Please help! :)

yes i wanna know too, although I think the answer is some sort of prototype. I read that for many of the movies he did wher mitsubishi sponsored, he would get one of their prototypes to a new vehicles supposed to be released. So more than likely a model that didnt really make it to production.

I must say it's hideous but in strange manner also very cool.
If I was working for Nike, Adidas or whatever I would most certainly try to get one, because it looks like a shoe.

That was Mitsubishi Colt from 80's.... It has only chopped roof :)...

Here are some pics of that model... front and rear lights are same.

It doesn't look anything like the one in the film, only the size.

joe_design could actually be right, although at first the cars look completly different its possible they made some pretty heavy alterations to it. Theres many similarities to the looks.

it was most likely a prototype... joe design isn't THAT right... im watching the movie now and looking at the cars... completely different.

And of course, with the birth of the artist came the inevitable afterbirth - the critic.

Late but, it's a Mistubishi Colt Spider prototype from 1984. It never made it to production.

Definitely looked like a heavily modified Starion to me. I think I even saw them drive pass a regular unmodified version that was red in colour.
