So goes the prologue of the movie. Let's celebrate by pay tribute by to the world's most famous singing, dancing, predatory plant. Sing a little song, feed a plant, talk to your cactus.

Audrey II's reign of terror seems to have lasted a few weeks. If we guess 5 weeks, we can assume the final battle occurred approximately on October 31st. That's plenty of time to think of ways to celebrate.

And if you wonder how I came up with 48-51st anniversary, here's how. Anyone who studies recent history (or lived through the last few decades) will recognize the styles of fashion and music as Kennedy era. Also, since the original, um... documentary was made in 1960, that sets earliest year. The Kennedy era ended at the end of 1963.
