Funny thing about the French dubbed version of the song Supper Time,

Ok this is just something silly I've wondered.

In the song Supper Time when Audrey 2 sings, "Come on, come on," In the French dubbed version he says, "Allon, Garcon". Well "allon" means "come on" BUT "garcon" can mean "waiter", but it can also mean "boy".

So I'm wondering which translation they were going for, was the plant saying, "Come on, boy!" or "Come on, waiter!" As in Seymour being the waiter bringing Mushnick *the FOOD* to the plant.

I know it could be taken either way but which were they going for?

Could be either, or both. In reality the obvious reason is so it still scans.

I just thought it was a little funny they transalted it as "allon, garcon" rather than just, "allon, allon"

Yeah you're giving too much credit to the idiots translating movies for dubbing. They usually get very little of the original text, lose most of the meaning and what they don't lose because they didn't get it, they lose intentionally so that it would "fit better".
