Am I the only one who actually enjoys the Original Ending? ***SPOILERS***
I actually find this ending more "realistic". Let me explain why.
Sometimes bad things happen to good people (Audrey being fed to the plant.) Sometimes good things happen to bad people (or in this case, a man/woman eating plant).
Sometimes bad things happen to bad people (Seymore paying for his actions, by getting eaten by the plant). It covers all the bases. Just like "Life" does.
I always felt the Theatrical Ending was missing something. It ended abruptly, convenient, and too "happy". Granted, sometimes "Life" will provide for a happy ending, but not always. It was refreshing to see the director at least attempt for the "Not-so-happy ending".
Plus, let's be honest "Somewhere that's Green (Reprise)" is a very beautiful, heart-felt, and heart-breaking song. Brings me to tears everytime.
