Theatrical AND Directors Cut on the Blu Ray?

I just watched the Directors Cut ending for the first time ever. I've grown up with the original happy ending and never had any problems with it. I thought the darker ending was interesting, and very well done, but I have to admit its hard to see the characters all bite it in such a downer after growing up with the happy ending. (I also felt like it dragged a little bit and kind of let down the super fast pacing of the rest of the film) I was wondering if the directors cut Blu Ray has both versions of the film, or just the DC?

I like both versions, but I think that I'd want the option of which ending to see depending on my mood. Not that i'll never watch the DC ending, but I think sometimes nostalgia will make me want the theatrical too.

yes the director's cut blu-ray has both versions - great to be able to view, alternate-between and enjoy both versions!

Ah fantastic. Definitely will have to buy it then :) Cheers!

Yep, both versions on the Blu Ray. I gave the DC a shot but I just don't think it works with the movie they made. The softening of Seymour's character, making Orin and Mushnik less sympathetic, and the editing choices (losing Seymour's section of "Meek Shall Inherit," keeping "Mean Green Mother") make the stage ending with Seymour and Audrey unjustified. Plus the film is shot very intimately, there are only like five scenes that take place outside the flower shop. Suddenly being thrust into the wide world at the finale was too jarring for my taste.

Theatrical cut forever.
