In KK and KK 2, no signs of any Cobra Kai parents....either at the match or in the parking lot afterwards when Kreese is manhandling his students. It's an under 18 tourney so you would think they would most likely be there and stop Kreese from choking out Johnny. Can't believe out of 5 of them.....no parents really cared. Karate lessons ain't cheap.
I think we 're supposed to infer that their parents where the rich type to just throw money at their kids and let them do what they want. There's plenty of rich kids out there who are being raised like this, and poor ones too, minus the money of course. Being rich and paying for karate lessons doesn't make one a discerning parent.
shareMoney doesn't matter if you are very rich.
BUT I think it's also because those students had been doing these tournaments for years. Parents lost interest a while ago.
