American flag hung improperly

Every shot of the U.S. flag hung vertically in the gyms the canton (blue field) is on the right. This is incorrect. In order for the flag to be presented properly in the vertical position, the canton should be displayed to the observer's left in accordance with rules covered by the U.S. Flag Code (Public Law 94-344).

It's perfectly plausible that the students or school custodians who hung the flags could have put them up wrong, especially since most normal, rational people are not obsessed with compliance with Public Law 94-344. As far as flag-hanging having any bearing on the quality of this movie is concerned, it really just doesn't matter.
