Shooting Elliot


In a couple of scenes between Lee and Elliot, we see Lee's face but not Elliot's - he is seen by profile but we cannot see his expression. The scenes take about half a minute.
I don't use to pay much attention to directing techniques, so I was wondering if it was deliberate to mean anything.
What do you think?
