Dianne Wiest superb acting and other great performances.

Only after watching Hannah and her sisters for the nth time, I have realized how superb an actress she is.

The romance triangle with the architect and April is where she excels the most. Her jealousy, her thoughts as a loser, her petty miseries , her insecurities...

- Where did April come up with that stuff about (...) ''organic form''?

LOL

A well deserved Oscar, which I didn't know about. I can't remember her in Bullets over Broadway nor in The Purple Rose of Cairo. I have to see them again.

Michael Caine, disgusting character, but great acting. His thoughts about the affair with Lee are without paragon:

- I have my answer! I have my answer! I'm walking on air. - full of satisfaction.

The mother and the father quarreling about flirting with other people...

" a haircut masquerading as a man"

Frederick (Max Von Sydow): - I DON'T SELL MY WORK BY THE YARD!!!

This film has quite a lot of details which you enjoy in second, third and nth time you watch it.

When Holly and April are in the car with David, the negotiation to decide who is going to be dropped first is so ridiculously real... both women feigning indifference, yet both subtly trying to have their way...

Genius of Wiest acting the loser part, genius of Allen for the script...
