Feelings about Hannah?

I love this movie. I've watched it dozens and dozens of times, and I think i can appreciate the humor, the music, the sentiment and the artistry. However, the more I've watched, the more I've realized something. I am not impressed by Hannah.

I feel like throughout the movie we are constantly being told by other characters that she is so giving, so perfect, so reliable. But I don't feel that we're really ever SHOWN these qualities. It's like I know it's supposed to be so, but I'm not so sure I believe it.

For example, the scene where Hannah and Mickey talk to his business partner about donating sperm. I feel like Hannah doesn't understand the seriousness of what they're asking, as she says, "Let's not let it spoil the evening; let's move on to another topic." Ummm, you just asked these people a huge and life changing question. I would think that someone considered to be so perfect would realize that and have a little more tact or consideration instead of clumsily changing the subject. Maybe I have a different definition of perfect than Woody Allen.

When I think of this movie, I automatically think of Lee, Elliot, Frederick, basically everybody except Hannah. Hannah is just flat. I guess you'd just think that someone treated as the center of the family with her name in the title would be a little more memorable.
