Version of Puttin' on the Ritz

I found something that said it was Irving Berlin, but when I try to download it I get a different version. I'm wondering who actually performed it I guess. Thanks for any help

Irving Berlin wrote the original, obviously.

The chord progression implies that this particular interlude was written directly for the movie/scene. Whoever wrote the score probably did it.

Yes, the snippet of "Puttin' On the Ritz" heard in the movie was arranged by John Barry, especially for that scene. If you still want it (without all the laughing and sound effects), it's available on the 3-disc CD soundtrack produced and sold by LaLa Land Records (limited edition, but still available).
