Best made of the series?

the original was never received the way the original Halloween as d nightmare on elm were so the series has always been seen as a weak but fun series. Imo this wa the best made of the series. It has a level of camp, no pun intended, that made the movie a bit more fun.
Thoughts?

It was too "on point" for me.
It felt like it needed a laugh track for how phoned in everything was.

It looks more like an action movie than the others, but that's what hurts it for me.

Better made than all that came after it, but I think that the first 5 were pretty solid.

Part 1 and 2 were the best made of the series imo.

IMO, definitely the best made, and quirky, blown away by this as I only just saw it :) Most of the others are still really fun though, just a bit too tacky, in terms of film-making, while JL is very sophisticated, especially for a slasher sequel.

Not the best made IMO, but very different than the rest to a point I could see people liking this most in the series, because it really does stand out.

The camp was too much, ruining the tone for serious bits at the end. Also felt like it had a real TV quality to it. Just the look. Makes me wonder if the lack of nudity had something to do with them trying to get a TV deal out of the series.

On a technical level I would say this is the best of the series. It's shot well, the editing is on point, etc.

It's not my favorite Friday film but it is the best-looking of the bunch.
