Definitely deserves much much more than a 5.8!

For sure! This is my second favorite Jason film next to The Final Chapter.

Yeah this is definitely an improvement over the last couple. Those were real stinkers. We watched a few to celebrate it being Friday the 13th, and this one was actually pretty good. Like I said, especially after 4-5, which are almost unwatchable...

Yes, I gave it an 8. It isn't a bad film at all. Certainly better than a couple of the later entries.
