'It's the curse, Miss.'

"It's the curse, Miss. I've got it..." (breaks down crying) -- when one of the older girls says this to Rachel Ward's character near the movie's finale, I remember thinking "What the hell is she talking about? The curse?"

It took me a few minutes, but I figured it out eventually. I saw this movie sometime in the early to mid 90's (taped off late night television). I wasn't *entirely* dense as a teenager, just mostly dense.

How about other lines from the movie that you distinctly remember?

‘Look what I’ve got, I love chocolate biscuits’.

‘We were bringing you food before you pissed off, now you can bloody well go without’.

Wow, just realised your post is 14 years old!
