When the group escapes from the barn, they pass what appears to be one of the kidnappers who has been beheaded and propped against a fence.
When, how, why and by whom was he killed? Was there a scene cut somewhere?

Maybe one of the other kidnappers killed him b/c they had a falling out? I think that may have been what happened, but I am not sure b/c it's been like 15 years since I saw it. Makes sense though.
shareIt's been about 15 years since I've seen it too so I'm not sure but I think when they were in the barn you hear 2 of the kidnappers arguing and one saying he wants out because things are going wrong.
I think Santa then kills the one that wants out and that's him.
Was the one killed the same one that "REVEALED" their names...

when theyre in the barn you hear them arguing, he says its gone to far and that hes leaving, then father christmas says no youre not and shoots him. In the original version you hear the gun shot but in another version ive seen you don't hear it(i dont know why) but even though theres no gun shot you still see the kids and sally get startled from it.
shareyea im watching it right now and just saw tht part (btw this movie all of a sudden got super bloody) and I didnt get it at all. I head the two guys arguing in the house and then there was a gunshot, but i didnt see a gunshot wound on him and I dont get why they would bother decapitating him. too weird
