THEREFORE, for the remainder of the film, her big orange red hair IS A WIG!!!!!!!

This means she was wearing it through the scene where it gets wet, sleeping scene, the chase scene and the whole factory ending sequence.
This had me fooled from age 6 when I first saw to age 28 (now). That's 22 years!
I still love this movie to pieces.
I noticed this too. The movie shows that it's a wig, but she keeps it on throughout the rest of the movie, even in bed and during life or death sequences!

What happened in regards to the continuity with this thing? Did the filmmakers just forget that it was a wig? I mean, I only realized it was a wig after already watching the film for 20+ years. Yet still she would of had to put the wig on and take it off before acting each day.
