REALLY?! Curbside parking at the Revolver?

That scene where they pull up to the bar and park curbside right in front of the place brought me to laughter. Even then, in 1985, there was never curbside parking right in front.

I just went to their website, and see that they've done remodeling to the facade since then. And, added a table seating area outside. Times have changed...

In fact, many of the streets looked desolate and abandoned. I think that the 76 gas station where they were at is the one on beverly bl near fairfax (still there). They cruised Hollywood Bl up and down a lot. I'm trying to figure out which mall that was.
