makes sense both movies came out close around the same time
actually it makes no sense, seeing as the crimes took place in los angeles and is then waiting in a police station in chicago for "drugs"

Umm obviously he escaped from the police in LA, dropped acid, stole a car, and got caught in Chicago. And good call on Grant Heslov becoming a cop after hearing about these horrific crimes. He decided to move to Seattle and buy nitrous oxide boosters!
