Commentary on DVD.

Has anyone else seen the Commentary on the DVD? It's a great laugh and quite insightful with the director Penelope Spheeris and actor Maxwell Caulfield talking but a shame Charlie Sheen couldn't of joined them, he probably doesn't think much of the film as it's one of his first but I think it's one of his best movies.

It was also interesting that Charlie's father Martin Sheen went to the premiere and walked out halfway through because of the violence when he did a film called 'Badlands' which was very similar.

These are so nice when they decide to do a commentary on dvd movies. I gained a lot of knowledge about the movie, facts I did not know. The interaction between Spheeris and Caulfield is excellent. It's great that they sit in during the entire movie from beginning to end and discuss/comment about the various scenes along the way.

What really threw me is Maxwell Caulfield's strong English accent on the commentary. How was he able to disguise it in the movie? If you detected that accent in the movie it just wouldn't work well for the Roy character I don't think. :)

the only thing about that listen is they say they had 3 diffrent ways they were gonna end the movie? but they never elaberated on any of them.. i would have loved to hear how else they would have ended it.. Plus, they both claim the film never even got released. but it did, i seen ads for it in the movie directory in the new york times and a los angles paper. But how could they not know that? specially the director, she would have had got some type of payment for its ticket sales even it it only lasted a week or 2..???
