Does anyone else think the choreography sucked?

I haven't been involved in too many sword fighs in my life, but the kendo fight at theb eginning, for example - there was an attack, what.. every second or two? I think even for the time, enough would have been known about Kendo if anyone bothered to watch it to see that real kenso is a LOT faster.. I know it has to LOOK good, and they have to exaggerate and stuff, but you have to speed it up..

And again later, all Dudikoff had to do was push the guy, but instead of disarms him, then hits him a few times, THEN pushes him off the ledge :p I mean I might be being harsh coz I always dissect choreography, as CallanVass well knows, but I think it really sucks for the most part.

Anyone with me?

look at that and tell me it sucks.

That isn't a fight, it's a stunt. Granted, it's a pretty impressive stunt, but there's no choreography to comment on there, just planning. It doesn't suck, but it's not really relevant lol

the choreography is amazing. the whole film is simply movie magic. something that can never ever be recaptured no matter how much one would try and we live in a post-modern society where brilliant movies like this have no chance of being created or recaptured.

just treasure it for the brilliant masterpiece that it is.
