Vasquez's death effected me the most

She was a good person. She was brave. It's a shame that Cameron didn't feel like that actress was worth being on screen until the end.

Vasquez is one of my favourites in this movie.

reply

I agree! It always hurts when you see a character like her die in the movies. He obviously appreciates the actress though since he brought her back for many of his movies 😊

She died a brave death, and managed to get in a parting shot for Gorman. Not a bad way to go for a soldier.

reply

I know but I would rather have Vasquez survive with Ripley and Newt rather than with Hicks.

reply

What? Hicks is the best!

Hudson for the win

Is this your 1st time seeing this movie for as old as this is in pointing this out because in 1986, I assure you both men & women didn't think like this and not until 2024??

reply

WTF are you talking about "didn't feel like that actress was worth being on screen until the end".

If that was true then how did you know she was a good person and brave?

reply

Being a good person and brave has got NOTHING to do with anything.

Also, most other people in the movie are good persons and brave.

reply

I loved how at the end both she and Gorman died with a mutual respect for each other despite what happened earlier.

reply

Yep, Gorman redeemed himself by going back for Vasquez and preventing her from getting cocooned.
