Frankenheimer sure loved those crane shots. He always seemed to add some kind of new innovation or never seen experiments to each movie. I think actors really loved to work with him.
For some reason I think I would have gone to the police and told them the situation. But as far as Scheider goes, he should have just shot the 3 guys.
He obviously doesn't mind killing because of what he did with the car bomb.
Hey, do you really think he had $52,000 in that bag? Put 52k in a bag just to blow it up? + the Jaguar? Man, he should of just shot them all to save time, stress and money. Especially the guy that broke in his house. That's a no brainer. Breaking and entering. BLAM!!!!
I guess it was still a pretty good movie for 1986.

That's an interesting idea. I do wonder about if he had all $52k in the bag, only to blow it up. What a waste. I guess he just wanted to get back at the guy after giving him something he really wanted first - the Jag.

Yes, and instead of going to all the trouble of wiring the radio and door locks and putting bulletproof glass in the Jag, he could have had the bomb go off when Alan turned the key.

But ya know, everything has to be complicated or there would be no movie.
