How would Scheider's character explain his car?
His car explodes and has a dead person in it and he thinks that won't be a problem?

shareThe whole plot was fairly absurd. That isn't the only questionable part.
shareUm, report it stolen? Man, you millennials need everything spelled out for you. ;)
shareI thought the same thing as Roy walks off with his wife while the car is burning behind them. But then, it was just one in a string of absurdities in this movie.
BTW, someone suggested he just report his car stolen. That makes no sense either. So his car is stolen and is then blown up on an abandoned bridge to San Pedro. The cop are just going to buy that, right?
The cops may not buy it, but they would have to prove this absurd scheme. Or just accept a known scumbag died in a car he stole.
