I've been researching online for quite some time since I read your post today and I would honestly love to know where you read about that. :-) When I click on sitcoms.com, it is an invalid site amd in my searches for both Nick at Nite and TV Land, there is nothing that says it is going to air anytime soon.

Nothing even remotely about it on the actual Nick at Nite website. And, how sad to see that TV Land aired it for 7 months! 7 months, seriously? This show is classic 80's-90's sitcom material that I grew up watching. I don't understand why it isn't played more in syndication. I can never seem to catch the cycle of it on ABC Family either. Hmmm....does anyone know if we can find episodes anywhere to watch since the DVD looks like it won't be a go anytime soon.

I guess I will just have to get my Bateman fix elsewhere...

this is what was said about the hogan family airing on the 27th of december: Default Nick at Nite Request: "The Hogan Family"
Dear Nick at Nite Viewer Services,

I have a proposal for Nick at Nite: to make a deal with Warner Bros. Television for Nick at Nite to become the exclusive home of the hit 1986-1991 sitcom "The Hogan Family," which originally cast Valerie Harper as Valerie Hogan, the matriarch of 3 boys--teenager David (played by Jason Bateman) and fraternal twins 12-year-old Willie (played by Danny Ponce) and Mark (played by Jeremy Licht), as well as wife of airline pilot Michael (played by Josh Taylor).

After the first season, Harper was fired, which resulted in a long legal battle with the network. Meanwhile, at the start of Season 2, the show changed its title from "Valerie" to "Valerie's Family," with Sandy Duncan taking Harper's place as Aunt Sandy, Michael's divorced sister and high school counselor.

The following fall, in 1988, the series was rechristened once again as "The Hogan Family."

Tentatively, Nick at Nite shall welcome "The Hogan Family" to its regular schedule starting Monday, March 1, 2010 (24 years to the day of the series' debut) with a week-long marathon titled "Nick at Nite Meets The Hogan Family," a 4-night event showcasing some of the most memorable episodes of the series as originally aired on the NBC Television Network.

After the event, Nick at Nite shall air "The Hogan Family" regularly weeknights starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Sincerely,
Grundoon Katt

I got totally excited when I read that in your reply, but then I reread it to be sure....

It is a proposal from someone I am guessing is a fan. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that this is something dreamed up by the Grundoon Katt (who has an amazing idea- definitely plausible)that they are petitioning to Nick at Nite. It does say tentatively as well.

I'll continue to research, but if this indeed something that will come to pass, it's time to get my DVR ready!!!

This was about 5 years ago when the last time I saw Valerie on ABC Family. I was excited about it too! They even showed The Dukes Of Hazzard for a very short time on ABC Family.

I do not know what is up with that but the way it looks a lot of the 80's shows are slowly being placed into DVD box sets. I loved this show when it was on NBC. I always remembered watching ALF and then this when I was a teenager. This show has to appear somewhere for reruns or in DVD box set! Small Wonder is in DVD box set and why not this? Someone needs to get a hold of SHOUT to place this in DVD box set. I think I posted on here a petition on shows that should be on DVD box set and you may have to look for it and sign the petition.

Well she is stupid because there are fans like us that want to see it on DVD. Plus, she does not realize that no network is showing the show in reruns. Back 10 years ago they were showing Valerie on PAX which is now ION. Then I saw it on ABC Family 5 years ago.

The problem with Nick@Nite is that they are too busy showing Full House, Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond, George Lopez Show, and any of the modern shows of the 90's and 2000's! I would love to see them go back to showing 80's shows like they did about 10 years ago! This would be one of them that they could show!

That sucks. Too bad she has to be a B$&@$ about it.
Not to be morbid, but when she dies there's nothing stopping them from releasing it, right?
